When Flowers Met the Sea

A mixed-media work representing the moment I chose to surrender to life’s flow. The florals symbolize self, full of life, color, and growth, while the oceanic backdrop mirrors emotional depth and movement. Crafted with oil paint, thick-body acrylic, joint compound, artificial flowers, and resin, the texture embodies both grace and resistance. The sculptural joint compound elements serve as quiet metaphors for moments of hesitation, reminders that growth often arrives through release.
